Today was our first day where we spent nearly the entire day seeking and locating cache's as well as taking in some fresh air and nature trails. We spent a couple of hours in York township near Willis and Platt roads where two geocache's were hidden. Located a multi and struck out on another. I think we'll be back to take in these trails during the warmer months due to the overly wet nature trail and plenty of mud we had to navigate.

We then spent several hours in Saline and stayed most of our time at Mill Pond Park, What a terrific spot! A small creek to dangle your toes in, a large wooden play area, fishing, a dog park and a couple of geocache's hidden nearby. We'll be back for sure.

We ended our day with a nicely hidden find near a church in downtown Saline. The kids dubbed this one "The best of the day" Largely because of the size of the container.  (pictured below)

All in all, our day was a success, but we did strike out a few times. What do you expect from us, we're still rookies at this. But like I always say..."sharks are born in the water", so we'll learn as we go.

This week marks our first adventure into the world of "Geocaching"! The girls and I have begun this journey with great enthusiasm, so follow along if you dare. We are excited at where this will take us and I'm sure this is a hobby that will be with us for quite some time. Pictured above is the photo from our first find. Yes it's a cemetery, but we've all got to start somewhere, don't we? :-)
